Flower donation brings a smile
Youths at one of our social centres were able to take gifts home to their families recently due to a flower donation.
We run activities for young people with a disability at Peter Anderton Centre in Forrestfield. This can include arts and crafts, excursions and movie nights.
Recently, Roleystone Flower Farm donated pails and pails of stunning roses.
They came in various shades, and made an impact at the centre. And the lovely smell!
Rise Activities Officer Zoe Wood said she wanted to give a big shout out to Roland at the flower farm.
They were kind enough to supply us with an abundance of beautiful flowers for our clients and volunteers to take home.
The youths enjoyed making bunches of roses to take home to their family.
What a great gift to take home and share!
