Eathen set to break a speaking attendance record
Rise client Eathen Carruthers is set to break a speaking record attendance at his next event!
Celebrating the Passmore’s
Eathen is one of our people, who we love to celebrate! Rise has helped Eathen with his dream to become a published author. He has now published three books.
Two of the books are based on the history of Riverton, where Eathen was born and raised. He is very proud of his suburb and likes talking about Henry Passmore, who is the subject of his second book.
Speaking attendance record
Along with the Mayor of City of Fremantle, Eathen is hosting an event in June – The Return of Passmore Avenue.
George Henry Passmore was the first to settle in North Fremantle in the 1800s. The event on Saturday 2nd June will give people a chance to hear about the iconic houses of G.H Passmore on Passmore Avenue.
There will be a chance to meet Eathen and buy his books. You can also enjoy entertainment including bag pipes and assistance from Fremantle RSL.
Eathen said he was looking forward to a large crowd. He expects more than 200 people to attend, which will be his biggest public speaking record yet.
At the end of the day you will have the opportunity to make your way down to the end of Passmore Avenue on the waterfront and beautiful Fremantle Harbour with the guests and farewell a legend and his grandson who lived In Riverton. They will be given a send off like no other.
There will be a chance to mingle and reminisce on the many remarkable events that George Henry Passmore gave Fremantle Town back in the early 1800s.
The event runs from 10.30am to 5pm. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0499835976 for tickets.
We are so proud of you Eathen! He was also featured in our Celebrating People Book 2016-17.
