Vaccination rollout

Our priority is protecting our team and the people we support . Part of this protection is ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to be vaccinated against COVID-19 if they choose. Here’s what we’ve achieved so far:
  • Over 150 clients and staff received the Pfizer vaccine arranged at a Rise social centre in August.
  • We organised local vaccine hubs at all of our supported accommodation houses across Perth. These were attended by over 120 clients and staff.
  • Over 80 staff have been vaccinated at their local GP or other vaccination clinics around Perth.
At Rise, we believe the vaccine is one important way to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of Australians from COVID-19 - but you can choose whether you have the vaccine or not. We will support you to understand the vaccination process and provide you with relevant updates from the Commonwealth Department of Health.

Vaccination can save lives, and higher vaccination rates can make outbreaks much less likely.  A COVID-19 vaccine is just one part of keeping our community safe and healthy and our staff will also continue to maintain safe practises, as we have throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, including hand hygiene and physical distancing.

Let us know if you're being tested
