National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Rise has been a leading provider of services for people with a disability and those with a mental health issue for over 30 years.

On 12 December, it was announced that WA would be joining the nationally delivered, National Disability Insurance Scheme. From 1 July 2018, WA will hand over running of the Scheme to the Federal Government. The NDIS will continue to roll out on a geographic basis and will be fully rolled out across WA by 2020.

People already taking part in the State Scheme will transfer to the nationally delivered Scheme between April 2018 and December 2018. They will be contacted by the WA Government to advise them of the decision and the next steps to be taken.

Rise is very familiar with both the State and Federally run scheme and will be able to support those moving from the State scheme as well as those in the National scheme.

If you are receiving services from us today, you will still get services from us tomorrow.  We will share more information with you as soon as it becomes available.
