The benefits of exercise are well documented and at Rise we have developed an exercise program tailored to the needs of the elderly.

The program is a gentle strength based exercise program that is done at your own pace and can be easily adapted to exercising while seated. The group is run by trained dedicated staff who also focus on nutrition by providing a healthy brunch following the session. This group has become so popular it has been extended to two days per week:

Mondays at 10am – 11.30am
Thursdays at 11am- 12.30pm

  • Transport to and from the centre is available.
  • Light snack after the class is provided.
