Mental Health Peer Worker Course

Have you ever thought about becoming a mental health support worker?

If you have a lived experience with mental health, a willingness to work within a group setting and have a keen interest in working in the mental health sector this six-week course might be for you!

The course covers various topics and will give you a good overview of a potential new career path.

Interested applicants are encouraged to attend an interview (15 minute timeslots). Following the interviews, 10 applicants will be selected to attend this course.

Our next Peer Worker Course information session is on the 10th May 2021 from 10am – 2pm at Helen’s Place, 12a Leslie Road, Middle Swan.  You must RSVP to be able to attend the Information day.

Please note; you will need to bring your completed application form.  There is also a $50 course fee to cover the facilitation costs.

Course start date: Monday 17th May from 9.30am - 3.30pm.  Running for 6 consecutive Mondays finishing Monday 28th June 2021.
